We write, rewrite, and render it well wrought. The Cooler Minds was founded in 2014 by Lisa Schamess, an award-winning writer and communications professional who has been in the field since 1986. Along with founding associates Anne Lindenfeld and John Paul Walter, Lisa created The Cooler Minds to capture the collective mind and muscle of about a dozen professionals of varied ages, backgrounds, and skills. The members of The Cooler Minds have experience in urban policy, environmental issues, government, and education, to name just a few areas.
We can use an individual or project team approach, custom-constructing just the right mix of capabilities for communication projects of all scales, from micro to macro, with a commitment to thorough and timely completion. We are equally adept at writing for print, social media, or spoken-word communications. In addition, we have access to expertise in everything you need to connect to your public. From graphic design, infographics, and stop-action animation to email list management, interactive communication across platforms, in-person focus groups, and social media management, we can do it for you or act as matchmakers, introducing you to amazing talent.
